Larry Bennett Obituary

Larry was born in Houston, Harris county, Tx on December 21st 1941. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Viet Nam in Co C 168th Engr Bn. After serving Larry returned home and worked for a short time on his Grandmothers dairy farm in Galveston County, Tx. He also helped out on his mother, Clara Ann cattle ranch in Liberty County, Tx Until moving to Bacliff, Tx. to launch a very long career with Charles in carpentry work where he excelled and took on any and all jobs no matter the difficulty all the while helping out at his mothers ranch and any relative needing his expertise.
Larry eventually retired to help his ailing mother, Clara Ann, in Liberty County until her death in in November 2005. Larry then returned to Bacliff, Tx. Where he enjoyed being outside often taking long walks.
Larry passed away peacefully at Gamble's Personal Care Touch Care Home in Texas City, Tx. Under the loving care of Michelle and Mary along with the rest of the Essential Hospice. Special thanks to Gamble's for their outstanding and loving care they showed Larry.
Larry is preceded in death by His Mother, Clara Ann Williams of Liberty County, Tx.
A memorial service is pending at South Park Funeral Home, Pearland, Tx.
