Larry Bensen Obituary
Larry Bensen, age 80, of Erskine, MN, passed away on Wednesday, October 16th, at Riverview Health Hospital in Crookston, MN. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 25th, at Grace Lutheran Church in Erskine with the Rev. Pam Thorson officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, rural Erskine. Family will greet friends for one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church. Arrangements are with Carlin Family Funeral Service of Erskine and messages of condolence may be shared at www.carlinfuneral.com.
Larry Ray Bensen was born on July 4, 1944, in Fosston, Minnesota to parents Marvin and Ruth (Carver) Bensen. He grew up in Erskine and graduated from Erskine High School in 1962. He did odd jobs throughout his life and lived in Erskine the majority of his life. Recently, he has been a resident of the Villa St. Vincent in Crookston.
Larry liked golfing, fishing, trapping, and going for long walks.
Survivors include his nephew, Michael (Colleen) Anda of Borup, MN, and niece, Connie Ostoj of Fargo, ND.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Joanne Anda.
