Larry Joe Beseda

1944 - 2025

Larry Joe Beseda was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 14, 2025, in his home in Kingsland, Texas at the age of 81 years old. He was born January 24th, 1944 in Dallas, TX and spent his entire life in Morton and Whiteface, TX. After retirement, he resided in his happy place, Lake LBJ, in Kingsland, Texas.

Larry graduated in 1962 from Morton High School in Morton, Texas. While attending high school, he met the love of his life, Twyla. They married on January 18, 1963 and spent 62 years in married bliss. Larry and Twyla went on to have three sons David, Joey, and Chad. While building a life and family, he worked along side his dad, Joe Beseda, at Beseda Grain. He later became the owner of Beseda Fertilizer to carry on the family name and devoting his life to running a successful business along side his sons until retirement. In addition to his many years at the fertilizer, he served twelve years on the Whiteface School Board and twenty-six years on the City Bank Board of Directors.

Larry's life was defined by resilience, generosity, and an abiding Christian faith. He was an active member of the Catholic Church community where he worshipped and served faithfully. His relationship with Jesus Christ was the foundation for everything he did in life. His motto on faith and life was "Believe and you shall receive, doubt and you'll do without." He was a proud husband, father, Papa, Pops, and a friend to all. He cherished any time he got to spend with his kids and grandchildren, especially flying in his plane, traveling, and making memories.

Larry was proceeded in death by his parents, Molly and Joe Beseda, his grandson, Keaton Beseda, and his very best friend and long time business partner, Dan Casarez.

He is survived by his wife, Twyla; three siblings, James, Pat, and Bebe; son David and wife Leeann; son Chad and wife Jill, son Joey; grandchildren Nathan, Tony, Trey, Kelsie, Chase, and Harley, as well as twelve great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 -7:00 pm on Wednesday, August 20,2025 at Krestridge Funeral Home. Services for Larry Joe Beseda will be held at St. Michael's Church in Levelland, Texas on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at 11:00 am with graveside services in Whiteface, Texas to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations be made to the scholarship fund honoring his grandson, The Keaton Beseda Memorial Scholarship fund at any City Bank location.
