My sincere condolences to Renita, Sarah, Elizabeth, and all the family. Larry was a wonderful servant of God, a very smart man with a heart of gold. I worked with Larry at Dept. Military Affairs, and later enjoyed seeing him in other agencies, usually at his annual presentations on the Statewide Accounting System, EMARS.
Larry was prudent and wise: I´ve never heard an unkind word from him and he exercised great restraint and self control often dealing with important financial matters. However, at Military Affairs we could tell when he was upset with his fair skin and hair - yet he didn´t speak in anger. I always was so happy to see him, he truly was an honorable, good man and a friend I could trust.
His strong unwavering faith in God and love of his family was evident in whatever he did, every day. Remember, this is not the end: the best is yet to come.

My sincere condolences to Renita, Sarah, Elizabeth and all his family. I worked with Larry at Military Affairs. He was always kind and easy to speak with, a very understanding and intelligent man! Larry was so smart, and whenever I saw him I'd joke and say, "You're the Daddy of eMARS," because he was an expert in the Statewide Accounting System. He would humbly put his head down and then change the subject, because he didn't need acclamation, he was happy in his strong Faith. I will miss Larry and wish I had kept in touch. Remember, this is not the end; we will see him again where there are no more tears or pain. The best is yet to come.
