Funeral services for Larry L. Culverhouse, Sr. will be held Saturday April 12, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Rose Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana with Rev. Taff Watts officiating. Interment will follow at Andrews Chapel Cemetery in Heflin, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Friday, April 11, 2025, at Rose Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana.
Larry was born August 1, 1942, in Shreveport, Louisiana and went to be with the Lord on April 9, 2025, in Bossier City, Louisiana.
He was preceded in death by his son, Larry Lee Culverhouse, Jr., his father, Prather Culverhouse and mother Josephine Culverhouse and brother, Jessie Culverhouse.
He is survived by the love of his life, Mary Culverhouse of Dubberly; daughter, Jo Beth “Jody” Rhodes (Carl) of Dubberly; sisters, Karen Walker and Barbara Stripland both Dubberly, and Diana Stroud of Shreveport; brothers, Ronnie Culverhouse of Arkansas, and Gene Culverhouse of Springhill, six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
