Larry Ray Dautrich, age 81, of Atlanta, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2024. He was born in Noblesville on January 14, 1943, to the late Cloy and Dorothy (Baldwin) Dautrich.
Larry married Nellie Elizabeth (McKibben) Dautrich on March 16, 1990, and they enjoyed 34 years of love and partnership. He retired as a Heavy Equipment Operator from Martin Marietta Stone Quarry, where he was known for his dedication and hard work.
A passionate NASCAR fan, Larry spent many enjoyable hours working on stock cars with his brother. Larry was known for his love and affiliation with the QVC Club. He also loved fishing, hunting, and caring for his home, including his prized Ford Crown Vic.
Larry is survived by his Wife, Nellie Elizabeth Dautrich of Atlanta, IN; Sons, Jimmy Allen (Jennifer) Dautrich of New Castle, IN, and Jeffrey Owen Dautrich of Elwood, IN; Sister, Margaret (Jim) Coulter of Atlanta, IN; Brothers, Conrad Dautrich of Frankton, IN, and Ed Ross of Murfeesboro, TN; Half-brothers, Bill Ross of Lawrence, IN, and John Ross of Indianapolis, IN; Half-sisters, Diane Barrett of Murfeesboro, TN, Vicky Lee Turner of Elwood, IN, and Naomi Moston of Hobbs, IN; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Step-daughters, Linda Franz of Albright, TX, and Carrie (Chad) Storm of Fishers, IN; and several nieces & nephews.
Larry was preceded in death by his Parents and Son, Ricky Ray Dautrich; Daughters, Wanda Louise Smith, and Lisa Jean Savage; Brother, Michael Dautrich; and Half-brother, Tom Ross.
Visitation will take place at Hartley Funeral Home, 209 W Jackson Street, Cicero, IN, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 15, 2024. A funeral service will follow visitation at 2:00 PM at Hartley Funeral Home in Cicero, Indiana, with Mark Knapp officiating. Burial will immediately follow the funeral service in Arcadia Cemetery, 6340 East 266th Street, Arcadia, IN.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Lung Association.
