Larry Joe Dibley

BURLESON - Larry Joe Dibley, 75, loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend went to be with his Lord on Sunday, February 2, 2025, surrounded by his family.
Larry was born to John and Addie Simpson Dibley on September 21, 1949, in Fort Worth, Texas. He grew up in Fort Worth and graduated from Poly High School and the University of Texas at Arlington. Larry began working for Safeway during high school and became a Store Manager. When Safeway left the area, he joined his father-in-law at F. Hensley, Inc. until his retirement.
Larry lived a family-focused life. He loved the Lord and loved and cared for his family and friends. He had an uncanny ability to anticipate the needs of each family member and meet those needs without being asked. He was always involved in the activities of his children. He served in leadership positions in the Safeway Employee Association, Mansfield Youth Basketball Association, Mansfield High School Athletic Parent Association and Poly Alumni Association.
Larry, an avid reader, enjoyed the beauty and craftsmanship of early American oak furniture, attending auto shows for 50's and 60's cars, traveling, and watching all episodes of Gunsmoke.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, John R. Dibley.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Dixie Hensley Dibley; daughter, Brianne Tebay (Jerry); son, Bryan Dibley (Amory); grandchildren, Cooper, Addyson, and Chayse Tebay, Aerin and Jai Dibley; sister-in-law, Doris Dibley; nephews, Jason Dibley and Keith Adams; and a host of loving and supportive family members and friends.
A Celebration of Life to honor his memory will be held at a later date.
