Larry was a member at American Legion Post 220 and Elks Lodge # 8. He volunteered at St. Vincent De Paul Society and enjoyed coaching youth football for Catholic Schools.
He is preceded in death by his son, Scott Dickens.
He is survived by his loving companion, Linda Forde; daughters, Lora Forde, Christy Tilton & Leslie Newton; and son, Billy Forde.
His celebration of life Mass will be on Saturday, at 10 a.m., at Incarnation Catholic Church, 2229 Lower Hunters Trace, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation is from 3- 8 p.m. on Thursday at Rattermans Southwest, 4832 Cane Run Rd.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Vincent De Paul or the Elks National Foundation.
