Richard "Rick" Mills, 54, passed away Sunday, August 10, 2025,

Rick worked as a Marshaller for UPS and a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, where he served in Kuwait and Iraq.

He was a member of American Legion #379 in Elizabeth, In., VFW Post #3281 in New Albany, In.. He was past commander of VFW Post 3204.

Rick was preceded in death by his father, Michael Mills; grandparents Clarence "Shipwreck" and Virginia "Minigo" Bowlin and Carl and Edna "Mamaw" Mills.

He is survived by his wife, Stephanie; his children, Elyseium Mills and Eros Mills; his loving mother, Joan Mills; sister, Vickie Price.

His Celebration of Life Service will be 2 P.M. Monday, August 18, 2025 at Ratterman Southwest 4832 Cane Run Rd. with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 A.M. until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy in the form of donations may be made to the family to help for funeral expenses.
