Donna Kay Sherley, 74, passed away on Tuesday, September 16th, 2025.

Donna was a graduate of Butler High School, class of 1971 and Carl D. Parkins Vocational Training Center, where she studied horticulture. She was a member of The Vine Church, Harbor House of Louisville, and was involved with the woman's club at St. Denis. She was a juried artist, spending several years at Studio Works. Donna participated in the Special Olympics as a member of the Louisville Llamas. She will be missed by many.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence "Sonny" and Elizabeth "Gerry" Sherley.

She is survived by her siblings, Cynthia Goodin (Larry), Tammy Bredhold, Marty Sherley (Andy Stencel), and Angela James (Rich); a host of nieces and nephews; and her beloved cat, Lucky.

Donna's celebration of life service will be at 11a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23rd at Ratterman Southwest Funeral Home, 4832 Cane Run Rd. with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.

Visitation will be from 2- 8 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 22nd.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Donna's sister, Cindy for her life-long commitment to Donna's life and happiness.
