Larry Goldsberry Obituary

Larry was a dedicated Journeyman Ironworker for over 34 years. He worked out of the Local 393 in Aurora, IL and the Local 498 in Rockford, IL. Larry loved his family and friends; he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife – Sharon (née, Gardner) Goldsberry, to whom he married on February 14, 1974 in Aurora, IL; five children – Lisa (husband, Joe) Baker of Tennessee, Larry (wife, Debora) Goldsberry, Jr. of Mendota, IL, Tara Goldsberry of Coulterville, IL, JuLee (husband, Ron) Ashbough of Alabama, and Starr (husband, Jeremiah) Pedersen of Sparta, IL; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one brother – Donald (Debra) Goldsberry of Nashville, IL; several nephews and one niece.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson – Tyler Wolfgang Guddendorf who passed away on January 3, 2024.

It was Larry's wish to be cremated with no services being held at this time.
Heil-Schuessler & Sinn Funeral Home in Sparta, IL is in charge of arrangements.
