Larry Gene Hancock

Larry Gene Hancock, age 78, of Hopkinsville, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at his home of natural causes. The family has chosen cremation with a Celebration of Life Service to be held at a later date. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.

Larry was born in Hopkinsville, KY, on December 21, 1947, the son of the late Elmo and Katie Mae Cayce Hancock. He previously had worked in Construction on Fort Campbell and was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his three brothers, Richard Hancock, Ray Hancock, Billy Hancock; and his three sisters, Rosie Robertson, Louise Harper, and Ruby Smith.

Survivors include his brothers, Edward Hancock of Princeton, KY, and Bennie (Judy) Hancock of Hopkinsville, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.
