Larry Douglas Hopper, 71, of Gastonia, passed away at Caromont Regional on January 9, 2025. He was born October 22, 1953, in Gaston County, to the late Donald Nesbit Hopper and Barbara Clarice Fortenbery Hopper.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Reverend Donald Bruce Hopper.
Family members left to cherish his memories include his significant other, Gloria Morrow; daughter, Heather Hopper (Ronnie Falls); brother, Curtis Hopper (Daughtry); sister-in-law, Doretta Hopper; grandson, Jayden Falls; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Larry’s Memorial Service will be at 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home with Reverend Richard Lewis, Jr. and Reverend Bobby Duran officiating.
The family will greet attendees as they exit after the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in Larry’s name to The American Cancer Association.
