Larry Jones, our little brother, passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at the age of 68.
He leaves behind three siblings, Charlotte Jones & husband Rick Siva of Xenia, OH, Jeanette Vater & husband Ray of Kona, HI, J. R. Jones & wife Joyce of East Bernstadt, KY; plus a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Randall & Anna Mae Lanham Jones.
Larry was a retiree from Kerns Bakery, where he dedicated 30 years of hard work and camaraderie.
In his retirement, Larry found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved fishing with his buddies, spending countless hours by the water, sharing stories and laughs. He was also an enthusiast of target practice and off-road jeeping, enjoying the thrill and adventure they brought.
One of Larry's favorite routines was meeting his friends for breakfast at Hardees, where they gathered at what they fondly called the "liars' table." It was here that Larry shared countless memories and good times with his dear friends.
Above all, Larry was a loving brother, cherished by his family and friends for his warmth, kindness, and unwavering support.
Larry's spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew him, and his memory will forever be a source of comfort and inspiration.
