Lawrence (Larry) Thomas Knorr of Doylestown, PA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at his residence. He was 73 years old.
Larry was born in Bristol, PA to the late Richard and Elizabeth (Betty) Divens. He resided in Trevose, PA before moving to Doylestown, PA in 2009.
Larry was formerly employed as a car salesman for over 50 years, most recently employed with Bryner Chevrolet from 2009-2020. He enjoyed gardening, cooking, drumming in the band Thunderbow, spoiling people, and loved animals – especially his cat Little. Larry was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan and enjoyed watching his son and grandson play football at Neshaminy High School.
He was the beloved husband of Bernadette Souder; devoted father of John Knorr (Kathy), Jil McMahon, Kelly Meussner (Anthony), Marcia Moffett (Edward), Jeremy Knorr, Alexandra Knorr (Chris), Matthew Knorr (Kelly), Jenn Good (Jordan), and John Merrick; dear brother of Richard Knorr and late wife Patricia, and late brother Steven Knorr who is survived by his wife Dee(Delores); former husband of Jackie Knorr, and also survived by thirteen grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
The family will receive their friends at the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Sunday, August 27, 2023, from 2:00-3:00 pm, with a memorial service to begin at 3:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the Cat Tales Adoption Center, 1111 Easton Road, Suite 17, Warrington, PA 18976, or www.cattalesinc.org would be appreciated.
