Larry Joe Lemmon

Larry Joe Lemmon, 67 years old of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away, Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at North Oaks Medical Center. He was born on Wednesday, August 13, 1947, in Derrider, La., son of the late Clarence Lemmon and the late Joyce Lemmon. He attended Hammond High School. Larry was a exceptional musician, playing the saxophone. He played with the bands "Southern Spice" and "The Dominios". Surviving are wife of 47 years, Barbara Naquin Lemmon, sons, John Lemmon and wife Odette Lemmon and Jarrett Lemmon and wife Hollie Lemmon, grandchildren, Brittany Terrebonne, Madison Lemmon, McKenzie Lemmon, Nicholas Lemmon and Brooke Lemmon Golder and husband T.J. Golder, great-grandchildren, Bentli Lemmon and Jace John Golder, sisters, Cynthia Binnings and husband Bill Binnings and Darla Robinson and brother, Don Lemmon. He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Dennis Ray Lemmon. Friends will be received Wednesday, July 8, 2015 from 4:00 pm until Memorial Service begins at 5:00 pm at Pineview Church of Christ in Hammond.
