Surrounded by family, Larry Lockwood, of Proctor, Oklahoma, was called to the western skies on August 14, 2024. He was born on May 4, 1944 and leaves behind a lasting legacy for generations to come.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, from 4 PM until 7 PM at Hart Funeral Home in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
A Funeral Service to honor and celebrate Larry's life will be held at Hart Funeral Home in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, on August 22, 2024, at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at the Proctor Cemetery.
Larry will be missed by his loving wife Carolyn, his children Leah Moore (Michael), Lacy Lockwood (Tonya), and adopted son Jose Guevara, as well as his brother Johnny Lockwood (Phyllis). His legacy will forever live within the hearts of his grandchildren: Misty Boston (Jeremy), Brandy Lockwood, Cody Lockwood, Josh Moore (Kaley), Dalton Lockwood (Kaylei Cannon), Justin Lockwood, Lesley Gower, and Garrett Gower (Paige). Larry's great-grandchildren Kaitlyn Boston, Aden Boston, Easton Siler, Lincoln Boston, Zoey Boston, Tymber Siler, Jameson Moore and great-great-grandchildren Mekhi Buzzard and Varya Buzzard will forever cherish his memory.
He was preceded in death by his parents Virgle and Oneta, his siblings, Tommie Lockwood and Jimmie Lockwood, and his beloved son Lance Lockwood.

As Larry journeys onward home and in the midst of our sorrow, may we find comfort and joy in the memories that we share. May he find eternal peace in heaven's blue skies, and may his legacy continue to guide us in the days ahead.
Larry will forever remain in our hearts as a beloved husband, Dad, Grandad, and friend.
Those who wish to bring food items for following the burial may do so by taking food to the Proctor Community Building between 12:00-4:00pm, on Thursday, August 22, 2024, following the funeral services.
