Larry was born on February 12, 1952, to Edward Lawrence McPherson and Wilmer Porter Nixon in Clarksville, TX. Larry moved to Clovis at the early age of 3 and was baptized at St. Johns church. He served a brief time in the United States Navy and worked many years at Excel Beef Packing Company.
Survivors include; his daughter; Ivana McPherson of Lubbock, TX, sister; Glenda Spencer of Killeen, TX, and brother; David McPherson (Linda) of Clovis, NM
He is preceded in death by his parents; Edward Lawrence Sr. and Wilmer Brown, brothers; Don McPherson, Lawrence McPherson, sister; Martha McGee, Ruthie Chaves, and Mildred Fletcher.
