Larry Gene Medlock, age 80, of Clinton, SC, passed away, Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Prisma Health Laurens County Hospital.
He was born September 11, 1945 in Joanna, SC, and was the son of the late Luther and Ruby Louise Turner Medlock. Larry was a proud Veteran of the US Army; having served in the Vietnam War. He was a member of Believer’s Assembly Holiness in Clinton.
Larry is survived by his daughters, Jane Moody (Ben), Misty Seawright, and Stephanie Floyd; his sisters, Becky Wilbanks (Toni), and Mary Joyce Leopard; his grandchildren, Cameron Tucker (Kellie), Alex Tucker, Adreanna Tucker (Matt), Miranda Sims (Justin), Megan Sprouse (Evan), Madison Pierce (Felix), and Jacob Floyd; great-grandchildren, Brayden Tucker, Addison Tucker, Kimber Kilbourne, Brooklyn Lawson, Emma Tucker, Tinsley Bodie, Aspen Sims, and Novalee Tucker; and his nephew that was more like a son, Keith Wooten.
In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his sisters, Vivian Allen, Barbara Taylor (Robert); and his son-in-law, Mike Seawright.
The family will have a drop-in visitation Sunday, November 9, 2025 from 2-4 PM at Larry’s home, 300 Stonewall Street, Clinton, SC 29325.
