A memorial service for Mr. Larry Milligan of Trenton, will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 2 pm, with visitation from 12-2pm at Christ Ministries Church, 286 Hwy 45 W Trenton Hwy, Humboldt TN 38343.
Larry Eugene Milligan, age 82, passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
Larry was born on November 19, 1942, to Marvin and Annie Mae Milligan. He was a 1960 graduate of Peabody High School. Larry was a barber in Trenton for many years before beginning a career in sales with Snap-on Tools.
Larry was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed spending beach vacations with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a faithful man of God, finding strength and solace in his relationship with his Savior. Larry was a member of Christ Ministries Church where he taught Sunday School for many years. His faith was a guiding force in his life, influencing his actions and relationships, and evident in the time he spent daily in God's word.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Sue Ellen Chandler Milligan; two sons, Tony G. (Kathy) Milligan and Kevin (Karen) Milligan; and five grandchildren, Molly Milligan, Lydia (Carson) Elliott, Abby Milligan, Evan Milligan and Eli Milligan. He also leaves behind a sister, Dianne (Claudie) Jackson and brother, Terry (Kay) Milligan.
Memorials can be made to the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society or Christ Ministries Church, Humboldt TN.
