Larry Brent Monholland, 52, of Oklahoma City, passed away on March 25, 2024, in his home town. He was born on April 11, 1972, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Brent was a man who loved the outdoors, especially fishing and camping. His interests were varied, and he enjoyed reading fantasy novels, watching movies, and listening to a variety of music genres. His craftsmanship and artistic skills were evident in both his cunning affinity for building things and his previous work in carpentry and construction. Brent also had a special interest in making motorized bikes. He was smart as a whip, and was a skilled chess opponent and game player. He had a sense of humor that brightened the lives of those around him. And his wit and southernisms, expressed both a sense of mirth and of wisdom.
He is survived by his Mam-Maw, Bobbie Watson, brothers: Jason, Josh, and Mark, his sister Christy, his life-partner Nina Mcginty, father Larry Cecil, step-father Ronnie Anderson, aunt Debra, uncle Mike, nephews: Jordan and Logan, nieces: Cassidy, Camey, Aimee, and Loren, cousins: Jeremy, Michael, Melissa, Damon, Matthew and Marcus, and by numerous other relatives who cherish his memory. Brent was preceded in death by his Pap-Paw, Edwin Glen Watson, mother Brenda, grandparents: Alice and William Monholland, brother Stephen, aunt Patti Ann, and step-sister Candy Anderson.
A public viewing is scheduled for April 6, 2024, with a Memorial Service planned for the next week, on April 13th. Contributions in memory of Brent, and to help with memorial costs can be made at: https://gofund.me/f0b02a67
