Larry Vernon Naylor, 81, passed away Monday, June 2, 2025, at Altercare of Zanesville. He was born July 20, 1943, in Wellington, Ohio, to the late Merlin E. and Violet L. Carter Naylor. He retired as a Captain on the Norwalk Police Department following many years of service; past President with the Ohio Archers; became a Mason later in life; and enjoyed photography.
He is survived by his daughter Dawn Naylor and two grandchildren: Branden Vanoy and Kitana Vanoy.
In addition to parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie R. Ward Naylor and two brothers: Richard E. Naylor and Kenny Naylor.

A Memorial service will be held at 1PM, Saturday, June 21, 2025, at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. Cremation care was entrusted to Snouffer Crematory.
