Larry D. Nottingham

Larry D. Nottingham, 63, of Creston, passed away unexpectedly on Oct. 16, 2022.
Larry was born on Feb. 21, 1959 in Lakewood, OH to the late William Spencer and Mary (Davis) Nottingham. He graduated from Cloverleaf High School and the Medina County Career Center in 1977 and received his Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems from Ashland University in 1993. Larry was an accomplished lead guitarist who helped form the local underground hard rock band Mistreater in 1978. The band played several years at local venues and parties. In December of 1980 the band recorded their first album, "Hell's Fire". Larry was known for and will be remembered for his extreme kindness and generosity shown to everyone he met.
He is survived by his sisters, Judy (Frank) Lach of Geneva, OH, Cathy (Clay) Stanley of Creston and Jeanne Nottingham of Ravenswood, WV; his beloved nieces and nephews, Jeremy (Sarah) Goodman of Austinburg, OH, Julie Goodman of Madison, OH, Michael Stanley of Akron, OH, Kyle (Wren) Pittman of London, England, Cody Pittman of Johnson City, TN, Joey (Kate) Lach of Geneva, Tyler Pittman of Canton and Mary Pittman of Ripley WV and 5 great-nephews and a great-niece.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a niece, Kelly Goodman in 2017 and a nephew, Jason Stanley in 1997.
