Larry Phillips Obituary
Larry was formerly employed at Bob Evans in Hillsdale, retiring after 20 years of service. He also worked part time as a painter, painting many homes around the Hillsdale community. Larry loved ice fishing, pitching horseshoes, and volunteering at the Hillsdale American Legion for the Friday night fish fry. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Survivors include two daughters, Laura (George) Ames of Addison, and Lisa (Daniel) Wilkins of Spring Lake; one son, Rick (Jodee) Phillips of Saginaw; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; one half-brother, David Durrell; and one stepsister, Janice.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; one infant son, Joey Wayne Phillips; one grandson, Ryan Wingate; one brother, Daryl Phillips; and one half-brother, Charles Durrell.
Private family services for Larry Phillips will be held at a later time. Arrangements have been entrusted to the VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home in Hillsdale.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Hillsdale County Medical Care Facility.

I will always remember Larry living with us and having his pet foxes. He was always like a big brother to me.
