Larry Michael Pool of Fort Smith, Arkansas, died Saturday, March 14, 2026, in Fort Smith. He was born on July 20, 1959, in Lynwood, California, to the late Jerry Wesley Pool and Judith Ann (Haidet) Pool. He was 66 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Sheryle Pool Steidley; his father and mother-in-law, Joe and Connie Mullins; and two brothers-in-law, Eddie Mullins and Joey Schoggins.
For 36 years, Larry was a truckdriver, and he served in the U.S. Army. He was an avid OU fan and loved Oklahoma Sooner football. He loved saying "BOOMER SOONER." Larry loved his family very much, especially his grandchildren, and will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife of almost 44 years, Deloris Jean "Jeannie" (Mullins) Pool; his children, Wesley Pool and wife Tezzarae and Heather Bond and husband Kenneth; five grandchildren, Jordyne Work, Kendra Work, Jayden Pool, Landon Pool, and Philicity Bond.
