Robert J. Pool Jr., of Cedar Hill, Missouri, was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Robert J. Pool Sr. and Edna L. (nee Dodson) Miller-Forbes and entered into rest Wednesday, March 11, 2026 in Cedar Hill, Missouri at the age of 63 years.

He is preceded in death by his sisters, Lori Dotson and Suzanne Frieders.

He is survived by his parents, Robert J. Pool Sr. and Edna L. (nee Dodson) Miller-Forbes; children, Robert J. Pool III, Zackery D. Pool and Faith N. Pool; grandchildren, Mason A. Pool, Kyler M. Oliver, Adelyn G. Gaynor, Kaelyn R. Gaynor, Hailie J. Pool and Olivia L. Pool; siblings, William "Danny" Forbes, Jason Forbes, Stephen Pool and Karen Forbes; nephews and niece, Jason Fatch, Burley Forbes and Trisha Jones; along with numerous other extended family and friends.

Robert, known affectionately as "Bob" or "Uncle Bobby," will be remembered for his love of life's simple joys and the people and passions that meant the most to him. He had a deep appreciation for music, spending countless hours both listening to his favorite songs and playing music himself. Bob also enjoyed the quiet adventure of arrowhead hunting, always excited by the stories and history each find might hold. A proud veteran of the United States Army, he carried a strong sense of duty and honor throughout his life. Above all, Bob had a special place in his heart for his pets, whose companionship brought him great comfort and happiness. His quick wit, intelligence, curiosity, and love for the things that mattered most will be dearly remembered by all who knew him.
