Larry was one of the kindest and giving people that I have ever had the privilege of calling a friend. Rest well in the arms of our lord.

This photo was taken in July of 2011 while the Rezin Family was busy fertilizing and spraying. Larry and Sue invited growers to a barbeque, graciously providing the opportunity for Pam and me to meet growers in the area. We were humbled by their hospitality and cherish the memory of that evening.

My relationship with Larry was originally through work, but the friendship grew to that of a close friend and someone that I greatly admire. Both Larry and Sue are among the most gracious people I know.
Scripture tells us "As I have loved you, so you also should love one another" ". I observed Larry putting the needs of his neighbor before himself, and sharing the pain of others through his compassion.
I was never successful at beating Larry for a dinner check, even in my local community where I thought I had some influence with the restaurant staff, Larry was there first.
Larry was also an excellent writer, he could describe a mundane day on the marsh or a stuck tractor in a way that was enjoyable for any reader; I have often reread his old emails just for the entertainment.
When I learned of Larry's passing, it was a mixed feeling of hope for Larry as he comprehends eternity, and compassion for his family and friends, who carry on in his earthly absence. May God bless each of you.
