Larry Gene Rodgers, 76, of Holts Summits, Missouri, passed away on Monday, November 10, 2025.
He was born on July 6, 1949 in Bolivar, Missouri and was the son of the late Eben and Barbara Rodgers.
Larry graduated high school and then after began his career as a mechanic, he took great pride in his work, known for his skill, dedication, and willingness to help anyone who needed a hand in the garage.
Outside of work, Larry lived life to the fullest. He loved working on cars, riding motorcycles, and cheering on his favorite sports team, especially the Kansas City Chiefs. He enjoyed spending time with his kids, sharing his love of the outdoors, and going to the races, where he felt most at home among the roar of the engines and the smell of the track. Larry never missed a chance to turn an ordinary day into a good time, whether it was a family cookout, a Sunday drive, or simply swapping stories in the garage. His laughter, easygoing nature, and passion for life left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him.
Larry will be remembered for his big heart, his sense of humor, and his passion for the things and people, he loved most.
Larry is survived by his Sons; Michael Rodgers, Darron Rodgers, Daughter; Amber Stephens, Brothers; Greg Rodgers, Harry Rodgers, Carl Rodgers, Sisters; Patsy Champlain, Marsha Roark, Grandchildren; Autumn Rodgers, Kasmira Rodgers, Draven Rodgers, Ruby Rodgers, Chole Rodgers.
He was preceded in death by Son; Daniel Rodgers, Sisters; Sandra Rodgers, Evonne Rodgers, Nieces, Julie Willmeno, Jennifer Willmeno, Father-in-Law, Travis Jenkins, Mother-in-Law, Ruby Jenkins, and Brother-in-Law, Paul Jenkins
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Solid Rock Church.
Friends and family will be received on Sunday, November 16, 2025 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm for visitation at Solid Rock Church, and then a Funeral on Monday, November 17, 2025 will be held at 11:00am at Solid Rock Church with a burial to follow at Summit Memorial Park.
