Lawrence "Larry" Edward Roosa, the son of Howard and Mabel (Waddell) Roosa, was born on July 2nd, 1943 in Clarion, IA. He was raised and educated in Webster City.
Larry was united in marriage to Mickey Esbe, together they had four children: Tammy, Randy, Mark and Kristi. They later divorced. He later married Cindy Kitt, together they had two children: Aaron and Ashley.
Larry worked for Nissen's Packing in Webster City and Lewrights Meats in Eagle Grove from 1968 until semi-retiring in 1998 as the cure master. He later worked for Brown Supply in Fort Dodge and Eletrolux until 2008 when he fully retired.
Larry was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church where he enjoyed helping with various church activities. At a younger age he enjoyed fishing and later in life he enjoyed delivering "Meals on Wheels". Larry loved western movies, helping with various house projects and was very proud of his yard work. His favorite thing to do was spend time with his family.
Larry passed away on Sunday, October 12th, in Eagle Grove at the age of 82 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings: Delores Sturm, Robert Roosa, Ronald Roosa, Carol-Jo Thomas and Dennis Roosa; grandson: Derek Roosa and father-in-law, Jerome Kitt.
Survivors include his wife; Cindy Roosa; children: Tammy Rust (Jon), Randy Roosa (Kari), Mark Roosa, Kristi Forsythe (David), Aaron Roosa (Dusty) and Ashley Roosa; sister, Sandra Gumm, 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
