Larry Stephen "Bones" Shumate

Mr. Larry Stephen "Bones" Shumate, age 65 of Pembroke, KY passed away 9:30 P.M., Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville, TN. The family has chosen cremation with a service at a later date. Steve was born in Hopkinsville, KY November 20, 1959. He was a mechanic by trade. Steve was a U.S. Army veteran where he was a Helicopter Mechanic attaining the rank of SP4. He is preceded in death by his parents Mary Elsie Jones Shumate and Norris Ray Shumate, his son Nicky Shumate, his brothers Danny "LP" Shumate and David "Hoghead" Shumate. He is survived by his son Drew Pool of Bowling Green, KY, his daughter Stephany Pool of Cadiz, KY, his sisters Sharon Carver of Hopkinsville, KY and Shelley Markham of Elkton, a special niece Shelbi (Bryce) Gregory, a bonus son, Steven "Peanut" Gardner and 5 grandchildren.
