Larry Michael Simmons of Bowling Green Kentucky passed away at his residence on May 23 rd, 2025 surrounded by his family. He was born to the late Paul Simmons and Dorothy Perdue Simmons on April 3 rd, 1948 in Warren County Kentucky.
Larry retired from Southern States as a propane truck driver and went back to work at Warren County School System as a bus driver. He was a die-hard Kentucky Wildcat fan and an active member of Impact Church in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He had many grand children and great grandchildren whom he loved dearly and enjoyed spending time with as well as being with his long time friends, Thomas and Norma Miller.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Mark William Simmons, as well as a grandson Justin Elmore.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 60 years Linda Simmons. His children including one son Michael Todd Simmons, Two Daughters, Lisa Elmore (Patrick) and Denise Simmons Williams. His grandchildren Chaley Hamm (Justin), Austin Elmore (Brooke), Nick Eversole, Nathan Eversole, Matthew Simmons, Bailey Simmons, and Bristol Simmons. Several great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his
brother Jerry Simmons and his nephew, Greg Simmons. As well as Nephews Sayler and Reese Romero.
Services are being entrusted to J. C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel. Visitation will be held from 04:00 PM Thursday to 08:00 PM Thursday and 10:00 AM Friday until the funeral service at 01:30PM.
