Michael Aaron Greene, age 34, of Bowling Green, KY, passed away Saturday, August 9, 2025, at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.

Michael was born September 23, 1990, in Bowling Green, KY to James Kenneth Greene and Della Ann Brownfield Reeder.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Bill and Ruth Dunn and maternal grandparents, Henry and Blanche Brownfield.

Michael is survived by his father, James Greene and mother Della Reeder (Delbert); one brother, Jason Greene (Colleen); godparents, Donna McKinley Jones and Richard Jones; long-time best friend, Regie Babb. Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

Michael graduated from Greenwood High School in 2009 and attended WKU pursuing a degree in Recreation.

He worked as a farmer's market assistant, a certified canoe and kayak instructor, zip-line guide at Mammoth Cave and a security guard at Hiligans. He was also a Philanthropy Associate at Helping Up Mission and a customer service representative.

Michael was devoted to environmental sustainability and providing support to family, neighbors, and friends.

He loved whitewater rafting, canoeing and frisbee golf.

The family has entrusted J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane chapel with arrangements.

A Memorial Service is scheduled to be conducted on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 12 noon. Visitation will begin at 10am until the time of service at noon.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donation be made to the Make A Wish Foundation.
