Mr. Larry Buford Sparks

A visitation to celebrate the life of Mr. Larry Buford Sparks, 84, of Walnut, CA, formerly of Henderson, TX, will be held from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Saturday, October 4, 2025, in the Fellowship Hall of Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Mr. Sparks passed away August 7, 2025 in Walnut, CA. He was born August 22, 1940 in Henderson to Charlie Buford and Rendie Anita (Brooks) Sparks. Mr. Sparks took great pleasure in hunting and fishing. He also greatly enjoyed riding motorcycles. Mr. Sparks worked all over the world building off shore drilling rigs. Mr. Sparks was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Rendie Sparks; uncle, Curtis Brooks; and wife Laviena Bray Sparks. Survivors include his wife Ruey-Ming Sparks; sons, Colton Ray Sparks, Kelly Dane Sparks; granddaughters, Rendie Peterson and husband Jim, Lauren Ashley Gates and husband Jordan; six great-grandchildren, who were dearly loved, and a host of other family and friends.
