RICHMOND, Ind. - Pastor Larry V. Stevison, age 83, of Richmond, Indiana, died Wednesday, December 25, 2024, at Rosebud Village.Born March 24, 1941, in Cleveland, Tennessee, to Maggie Lee Herron and Melvin Clarence Stevison, Larry had lived in this area since 1984. He graduated from Bradley County High School in Tennessee. Larry made a personal commitment to God around age 17 and began feeling a call for ministry at age 18. He began his ministry in 1965. Larry was an evangelistic Pastor, with winning souls to God being his main priority, while discipling and stabilizing the Body of Christ, to be able to live victorious in the last days. He served churches in many states across the country.Survivors include his daughters, Angela (Kendal) Harris and Jeana (Patrick) Dale; four grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; sister, Sylvia Fern Jones; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends.He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce E. Stevison, who died in 2022; two sons, Douglas Michael Stevison and Michael Dwayne Stevison; grandson, Dylan Patrick Dale; parents; and two sisters.Celebration of Life for Pastor Larry V. Stevison will be from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, January 11, 2025, at Bethesda Worship Center, 2200 Peacock Road, Richmond. Memorial service will follow at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, January 11, 2025, at the church. Arrangements are being handled by Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond.Condolences may be sent to the family via the guest book at www.doanmillsfuneralhome.com.
