Larry was born in Monroe, Louisiana on June 22, 1937, to Nathaniel and Vera Toler. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Pete and Bonnie.
Larry met his wife, Sigrun (Sigi), in 1965 in Munich, Germany, and married on May 16, 1966. They started their life together in America after Larry’s discharge from the Army.
His interest was always in the military and police work, so no one was surprised when he chose to join the Colorado State Patrol in April of 1968. In 1993, Larry was promoted to Captain and retired from the Colorado State Patrol in 1998.
After enduring long term health problems, Larry passed away at Lutheran Hospital on Thursday, November 20.
