Larry Clinton Toler, Sr.

Larry Clinton Toler, Sr., age 76 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Monday, February 2, 2026 at his home in Fern Creek. Larry was born on May 12, 1949 in Fairdale, Kentucky to the late Chester and Nancy Toler.

Something very special about Larry's life is he has been with his wife Frances Toler since she was 14 and he was 16. They have been married for 59 years. He loved all of his family and he loved them ALL so much. Additions to his family were his two shih tzus named Charlotte and Cally, which he loved just like family. His affection extended to all animals as he owned horses, chickens, pigs, goats throughout his life. Larry's interests included going fishing, watching his 4 sons play sports and fixing up old cars. He was also very skilled with home maintenance, mechanical issues (he could fix anything) and refinishing furniture. He owned his own business named Larry C Toler Furniture Refinishing. In addition he worked for Go Mini’s. His latest employment was with JP Property Management . Larry always carried humor in his life and his heart. He will always be remembered as one who loved to laugh, as many people in the family and his friends who had many laughs with him can testify.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his 6 siblings, Mildred, Margie, Mary, Gene, Stella, and Janet.

Larry leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Frances Toler; his 4 sons, Larry Toler Jr. (Jo Toler), Timothy Toler, Christopher Toler (Amanda Daulton) and Jason Toler; his sister, Ina Housley; grandchildren,: Heather (Jon) , Mercedes, Autumn (Hope) , Jenna, Brennden (Marley) Shelby (Austin) , Lil Chris (Annie) , Jason Jr. (Daydrianna), Hailee (Malleigh) and Carmen; great grandchildren, Kaleb, Hunter, Julius, Legacy and Hallie; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a great many friends.

Visitation will be 4pm to 8pm on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, and from 9:30am until 11am on Thursday, February 12th. A celebration of Larry's life will follow at 11am on Thursday, all at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery, Louisville, Kentucky.
