To know him was to love him. Larry Edward Wasson was alot of things to alot of people...a husband, a dad, a brother, a grandpa, a grandpappy, a master fisherman, a talented artist, a great cook, a skilled bow hunter and taxidermist, an incredible hugger and a one of a kind human being.

Larry left this world to go be with Jesus on February 27, 2024 in Fort Worth, Texas. He joined his father and mother, Harold and Mary Wasson, and his son Michael Wasson who were all waiting to greet him with open arms in Heaven. Grief is hardest for those left behind, and he leaves a family who will miss him dearly with a void in our hearts.  Those family members include: his wife, Beverly Wasson, step-sons Tom (Renee) Stowell, Vince Stowell, two step-grandchildren Ayden & Gage Stowell, his brother Jerry (Shirley) Wasson, 3 nephews; Seth, Jacob and Luke Wasson, a daughter Michelle (Don) McMillan, granddaughter Sarah (Daniel) Rasmussen, two great grandchildren Luke and Grace Rasmussen, granddaughter Kayla McMillan, grandson Patrick (Maggie) Wasson, great grandaughter Hazel Wasson,  grandson Christopher Wasson, grandson Steven Wasson, numerous cousins, and countless friends he has made throughout his fabulous and adventurous life.

Larry was born March 11, 1945 in Harrisburg, IL. He was a great man who worked hard and provided for his family in every sense of the word.  Ask anyone who knew him. He was a beautiful soul that loved and cherished his passions and family. Some of his many talents included being able to paint just about any scene he created in his mind, fish any lake he could cast into, and tell a story to leave you captivated.

Larry's legacy is untouchable. He leaves this world having made it a better place just by being in it. He will live on in our hearts as we carry his memory forever, now as our guardian angel.

Per his request, there will not be a memorial service. Family will have his wishes conducted in his honor, at an appropriate time in the future.
