Larry Weachter Obituary
Larry R. Weachter, 85, of Lititz, passed away on Tuesday, March 11th, 2025, at the Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Hopeland, Larry was a son of the late Charles and Margaret (Reed) Weachter, and the loving wife of Nancy E. (Shiffler) Weachter for over 60 years.
Larry worked as a miner for Grace Mines in Morgantown, and Sensenig Propeller Services in Lancaster. In his younger years, Larry was a Polkateer in Ephrata. He and Nancy were long-time members of the Brickerville United Lutheran Church. In his free time, Larry enjoyed gardening and other yard work. His gentle and supportive nature will be deeply missed.
Along with his wife, Larry is survived by a grandson, Ryan (Shavonnah) Weachter; two daughters in-law, Deborah Weachter and Marion Weachter. Larry is predeceased by two sons, Kevin and Keith Weachter; granddaughter, Brittany; sister, Romaine Geib & brother, Galen Weachter.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 17th at 2:00 p.m. at the Brickerville United Lutheran Church Cemetery, 340 E. 28th Division Highway, Lititz, PA 17543.
