Larry Burkholder, 78, passed away on September 16, 2025, at the Keystone Villa of Ephrata. He was born on February 28, 1947, in Brownstown, Pennsylvania, to the late Levi & Anna (Getz) Burkholder, and the loving husband of Diane (Fry) Burkholder until her passing in January of 2025.
Larry graduated from Ephrata High School and went on to make a significant impact as a history teacher at Warwick High School. He was an avid fan of baseball and all Philadelphia sports teams, enjoying the thrill of games and the camaraderie they brought. He also had a special fondness for oldies music, particularly enjoying the tunes of Elvis, which filled his home with joy. Larry devoted his life to teaching, community, and family, and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
