Larry Willis Obituary
Larry was born January 21, 1941 in Carrollton, Georgia, the son of the late Robert E. Lee Willis and the late Jewel Boatright Willis. He worked as a painter before hanging up his brush and bucket. Larry enjoyed being in nature both fishing and hunting. He was Baptist by faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Mitchell Willis, siblings, Willard Willis, Winford Willis, Betty Powers, Billy Willis and Bobby Raven.
Larry is survived by his children, Jody (Sharon) Willis of Villa Rica, Lisa Naile of Villa Rica, Charlie (Judd) Pinkard of Villa Rica, Robin (David Brunson) Wilkins of Carrollton, Myra (Harold) Cross of Bowdon, a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Monday, January 5, 2026 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at J. Collins Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be conducted Monday, January 5, 2026 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of J. Collins Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Powell officiating.
Interment will follow in West Georgia Memorial Park with David Brunson, Judd Pinkard, Harold Cross, Danny McDonald, Gene Willis and Dennis Willis serving as pallbearers.
