Funeral service for Larry A. Wills, 87, of Alexandria, will be held at 12:00 pm on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at Anniston Memorial Funeral Home. Larry Bollinger will be officiating. Burial will follow the service in Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until service time.
Mr. Wills passed away on May 18, 2025. He is preceded in death by his parents, Rufus and Ina Belle Wills; and brother, Garry Wills.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Margaret Wills; children, Sherry Heifner (Lee), Danny Wills (Tracy), and David Wills; grandchildren, Dr. Sarah McReynolds (Dr. John), Rebekah Heifner, Faith Heifner, Emma Wills (Andrew), Landon Wills (Dakota), Denver Wills, Sawyer Wills, PeriAnn Wills (Colton) and Adin Wills; brothers, Ray Wills (Mary) and Kenneth Wills (Betty); mother in law, Frances Watts; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers for Larry include Denver Wills, Daniel Strange, Jared Strange, Walker Strange, Scott Carlisle, and Adam Harvey.
Larry was a faithful member of Post Oak Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Alexandria High School class in 1956. He served his country in the United States Air Force. After his time of service, he worked at Goodyear Tire for 33 years until his retirement. He was a loving husband, a kind and caring father, and a wonderful grandfather. To know him was to love him and he will be deeply missed.

Margaret and family. Larry was such a soft spoken man and will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. I didn´t visit much but I always knew he was with his wife and family. Love and prayers.
