Larry Elton Wilson, of Flintstone, GA, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2025. He was born in Panama City, Florida, on September 2, 1943. Larry was in management with Kmart for 36 years and retired in 1999. He was an avid hunter and loved gardening and riding his tractor. Larry loved old western movies and especially loved Clint Eastwood and Kevin Costner.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thurman and Laura Wilson; his siblings, Alonzo Wilson, Lawson Wilson, Freda Bagwell, and Manona Davis.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 39 years, Susan Wilson; his children, Karen (Keith) Bryant, Don (Amanda) Walker, and David Wilson; his grandchildren, Matthew (Alexis) Bryant, Joshua (MeriHollis) Bryant, Jacob (Taylor) Bryant, Logan Walker, Blake (Jasmin) Walker, and Kyndal (Bradon) Walker; his 8 great-grandchildren; and several very special nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, August 31, 2025, on August 2025, at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, August 31, by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, 833 Chickamauga Ave., Rossville, GA.
