Latasha Ruth Huser, a beacon of love, faith, and compassion, rested her gentle soul on March 16, 2025, at the tender age of 34, in her cherished hometown of Mena, Arkansas. Born on the Fourth of July in 1990, Latasha seemed to carry the same vibrant spirit and warmth as the summer celebration that marked her entrance into the world. In her all-too-brief lifetime, Latasha touched the hearts of everyone she met. A proud graduate of Acorn High School, she embodied determination and grace. On July 7, 2012, she embarked on one of her life's greatest adventures, marrying her beloved partner, James Huser. Together, they built a life filled with love and laughter and welcomed their beautiful daughter, Aria, who carries forward her mother's radiant spirit every day. Latasha is now reunited in eternal peace with her sister, Velisha Fraser, her friend, Marylyn Woody, and her grandparents, Patsy and Garland Watts, and Betty Bolton, whose memories she always cherished deeply. She leaves behind her devoted husband, James, and her precious daughter, Aria, as well as her loving parents, Joyce and Ronnie (Sam) Watts, and a large, supportive family, including her siblings: Donnie Dollarhyde and wife Kasi of Mena Arkansas, Martin Dollarhyde or Mena Arkansas, Dorothy Woody and husband Jonathon of Mena Arkansas, Shaon Watts or Mena Arkansas, Ronnie (Sambo) Watts and wife Nya Fay of Mena Arkansas, Sherry Cook and husband Jessy of Smithville Oklahoma, and Brandy Rogers and husband Briggs of Hot Springs Arkansas, and a wide host of nieces and nephews. Her faith in Christianity was a cornerstone of her life, guiding her actions and her heart. As those who knew her can testify, Latasha lived a life full of purpose and genuine kindness-a legacy that will resonate in the lives of her family and friends for years to come. While we all mourn the loss of such a shining light, we can find solace in remembering how she lived, with compassion and joy. A service celebrating Latasha's life will be held at Beasley Wood Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, March 19th, 2025, at 2 pm. She will be laid to rest at Pine Crest Memorial Park, where family, friends, and all whose lives she touched will gather to honor her memory. "God called your name so softly that only you could hear, and no one heard the footsteps of angels drawing near. The golden gates stood open, God saw you needed rest. His garden must be beautiful. He only takes the best."
