Laura Juliana Ciborowski (nee Gryczkowski) was the youngest and last surviving child of Walenty John Gryczkowski and Helen Maciejewski Gryczkowski, and was pre-deceased by brothers Walter, Edward and Melvin and sisters Marie Ditonno and Anna.
Laura was married to the late Chester Peter Ciborowski for 66 years and had four children: Robert Chester Ciborowski (Bonnie), Gary Michael Ciborowski (Melissa Evans), the late Paul Thomas Ciborowski, and Carolyn Jean Matthews (Daniel).
She was loving grandmother to Laura and Daniel Ciborowski, Sandra Flores; Glen and Keith Ciborowski; Paul Ryan, Christopher, and Justin Ciborowski; and James and Jeremy Matthews.
She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Laura spent her life in the service of her family as loving wife and mother.
Family and friends will honor Laura's life at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Sykesville, MD 21784 (Beside South Carroll High School) on Friday, October 10, 2025, between 3 and 6 pm.
A funeral liturgy (MASS) will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. Michael Poplar Springs Catholic Church, 1125 St. Michaels Road, Mt. Airy, MD 21771 with Fr. Kurt Klismet officiating. Luncheon to follow after Mass at the church.
Interment at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, 6515 Boston Street, Baltimore, MD 21224, on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at 11:00 AM., everyone to meet at the cemetery.
