Joseph Thomas Ciborowski passed away on October 17, 2024, in Clinton Township, MI, at the age of 89. He was born on August 31, 1935, in Detroit, MI.
Joe is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Patricia Ciborowski (nee Wisneski). He is also survived by his children: Cathleen Nobles, Caren (Robert) Kehrer, and Cristen (Todd) L'Esperance; his grandchildren: Shannon, Kelley, Joseph, Jennifer, Christopher and Catherine; and his great grandchildren: Rowan, Weston, Maxwell and Zoe.
Joe was the proud owner of Michigan Tool & Engineering for 44 years. He loved to hunt, fish and play golf. He liked to travel and Traverse City, Michigan, was one of his favorite destinations. Most recently, when his health declined, he loved when his son-in-law, Robert, would take him on car rides down Lakeshore Drive and get ice cream.
Joe was the "go to" and comfort for his daughters - they could always count on him for his advice, unwavering love and support. His famous saying was "I'll take care of it" and he always did for his girls.
Joe made many friends in his 89 years and will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests to honor Joe's legacy by making a positive impact on someone's life.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 24th, 2024 at 10am until 2pm with a funeral service at 1pm at Chas. Verheyden, Inc., 43300 Garfield Rd., Clinton Township, MI 48038.
