Laura Mae Hartin (Minnick), age 54, was born on October 6, 1970. Laura's courageous journey has come to an end, and she has spread her wings to reunite with her loving parents, Dean and Marsha Minnick on February 4, 2025, in eternal peace. Laura went under the care of Henry Ford Hospice Home and her family. Though she will be deeply missed, Laura's remarkable legacy lives on through her four children; Leigh Hays (Nate Toppen), James, Mealyn, and Kaylyn, as well as her five grandchildren. Her memory will also be cherished by her two sisters, Rhonda Mosley (Martin Walker) and Tina (Ron) Purdy, her brother Jamie Minnick, one nephew, five nieces, 11 great-nieces, and 11 great-nephews. Additionally, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins will mourn her loss. Tommy Smith, her devoted boyfriend, will also deeply feel her absence. Laura's passions included watching her favorite soaps, classic movies, and listening to the legendary Elvis Presley, whose music brought her immense joy. In keeping with her selfless spirit, Laura wished to be cremated, and in lieu of flowers, donation to hospice Home in Jackson or cancer research organizations would be a fitting tribute. A celebration of her life will be conducted by Brother Terry Riddle from Bible Methodist Church in Vandercook Lake at a later date.
