Laura K. Hunt, 64, of Lapel, passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her loved ones, following an extended illness.
She was born on July 19, 1960, in Kalamazoo, Michigan to John and Peggy (Bottorff) Bryant. She was a 1979 graduate of Pendleton Heights High School. She retired from Riverview Hospital in Noblesville in the billing department.
She enjoyed camping, fishing and crafting. She loved to travel. She loved her family and spending time with them, especially her grandchildren.
Laura is survived by her husband, Roger Hunt; three children, Nick (wife, Jenny) Hunt, Jennifer (David Guidry) Clendening and Andrew (wife, Mary) Hunt all of Lapel; a brother, Michael (wife, Chrissy) Bryant of Ohio; a sister, Kimberly (husband, Ron) Schoeff of McCordsville; ten grandchildren, Galvin, Palmer, Olivia, Jagger, Jax, Savannah, Grace, Josh, Drew and Quinn; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, John "Hank" Bryant.
A funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at Bozell Funeral Homes, Lapel Chapel, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel, Indiana 46051 with Rick Schoeff officiating. Cremation will follow.
Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, at the funeral home.
