Laura Ann Pierce, 45, of Springfield, Massachusetts, died unexpectedly on August 6, 2025. Born in Northampton, Massachusetts on January 20, 1980, she was the daughter of the late John D. and Eileen (McLaughlin) Pierce, Sr., and a lifelong resident of Springfield.
Laura will be missed is an understatement. Laura had a servants heart. While she worked in various nursing homes' kitchens, her passion/calling was helping her friends. She had many friends that can attest to that. Laura loved traveling, cooking for those she loved, trying new things (at least once) and spending time at the beach. She spent many summers visiting her favorite spots in Cape Cod. She traveled all across the United States and made friends wherever she went.
Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her grandmother Mary, Uncle Thomas, Aunt Mary and Godson Franklin.
Laura leaves behind her brother David, half-brother John, son Xavier, nephews, nieces, cousins, co-parent Keila, honorary brother & sisters, Shaun, Natalie and Jana along with many, many dear friends.
Family and friends are invited, Friday, August 15th at 1:00 p.m., to Laura's graveside service, Celebrated by Fr. Bill Tourigny, at St. Rose Cemetery, on Granby Road (Route 202) in South Hadley.
