Laura Lynn Sablatura Gonzalez was born August 10, 1975, to Robert and Penny Sablatura in Houston, TX. Laura graduated from Scarborough High School. She had three handsome boys that she loved dearly, and they were the light of her life: Matthew 19, Nathan 15 and Jack 15. She is survived by her mother, Penny, brother James and his wife Kristina and their children Ethan, Lucy and Sophie Sablatura. She is also survived by her ex-husband Marcelo Gonzalez. Family members include her Aunt Mary Ann Dittert, Uncle Donald and Beverly Sablatura, Uncle Raymond Sablatura, Aunt Julia and Don Kolar, Aunt Kathy and Dan Scsavnicki, Aunt Gay Jackson, Aunt Jeannie and Chris Morris. She had many nieces, nephews and cousins that she loved dearly and always enjoyed seeing at any family function.
For the past two years she has lived with her partner Christopher Pace and her sweet dog Suki that she was crazy about and a recently adopted cat she liked to call Jenny or Meow Meow. Laura was always on the go especially with her numerous friends. She loved caring for her friends, whether it was checking up on them, taking them to a doctor's appointment, running errands, bringing a holiday meal or getting together for karaoke, which she loved.
Laura worked at various jobs during her life, but her passion was being a floral designer. For the past two years Laura has worked at Breen's Florist. She was always trying to get better at her flower designs and was grateful that she had learned so much in the past few years.
Laura made friends easily and part of that was her kind and generous heart. We will miss her beautiful smile.
Visitation will be held at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Huntsville, TX on Saturday, February 8, 2025, from 10-12am followed by burial at Mayes Addition of Oakwood Cemetery, also in Huntsville. Memorial condolences may be made to the family at www.shmfh.com.
There will be a Celebration of Life at her mother's home in Houston from 4-6pm.
