Laura Jane "Janie" Schoen, 79, passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2025.
She was a Teacher's Aide and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary #193. Her and her husband, Gary, were always together, went to movies, dinner, music events and was a fan of the Portland AC's.
When she was younger she loved Fountain Ferry skating rink, bowling and bunco.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernie Michal and Dorothy Clopton and daughter, Gina Schoen.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Gary Schoen; son, Barry Schoen (Lindsey); brother, Ernie Michal (Ann) and grandchildren, Alan, Summer, Sierra and Haley.
Visitation will be Friday, June 13, 2025 from 1 – 8 p.m. at Ratterman Southwest Funeral Home, 4832 Cane Run Road. Burial will be at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at 1:30 p.m.
